NSPCC Number Day- 4th February 2022
Number Day
On Friday we took part in the NSPCC Number Day. Some children chose to come to school dressed as a rockstar while others chose to wear non-school uniform. During the morning we logged on to our Times Tables Rockstars account and battled against one another to complete to answer multiplication and division questions the quickest. We then took part in the NSPCC special number day challenges.
Our collective worship focused on the work that the NSPCC does and we learnt what each letter represents. As part of PSHE we learnt about stranger danger and how to keep ourselves safe now that we are getting older. We spoke about how to keep ourselves safe near the canal, train lines, moving vehicles, online and when out with our friends. We also spoke about the importance of having a trusted adult to talk to.
