Christmas biscuit event with our grown-ups

Yesterday we had a fantastic day baking Christmas shortbread ready for our event with grown-ups. The children worked well within groups to measure out the ingredients and follow the instructions for making shortbread.
Today the children were extremely helpful in helping prepare the classroom for their grown-ups. They helped make buttercream and icing as well as sorting the plates on the table.
It was lovely to see so many grown-ups in class helping the children decorate their biscuits. The children worked incredibly hard to prepare their presentation and they suggested the carols to sing. It was lovely to see so many children and grown-ups enjoying the activity.
