Hello Thoresby,
I am really enjoying hearing from you all and seeing the projects you are completing.
Please keep using Purple Mash, I have marked some incredible pieces of work this week.
Remember to check for updates on the website, we now have access to Take Five on the Home learning section if you would like to do this at home.
Keep safe everyone!
This week, have a go at writing a non-chronological report.
You can choose any subject you like to write about, this could be about an animal, plant, person, sport or hobby.
Try to organise your report into 5 paragraphs using subheadings. Your report should have an introduction and a conclusion and include as many facts as you can.

This week I would like you to look at the daily lessons from one of the following:
BBC Bitesize Daily lessons

White Rose Activities
https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-4/
The Oak National Academy

All of these sites have produced really good lessons that are clear and easy to follow for the Year 4 curriculum - choose which ever one works best for you.
On Thursday this week it will be VE Day. This is the anniversary of the Allies victory in Europe against Germany in 1945. This links in well with our current history topic and you might want to have a go at some of the activities linked below. Remember to email your pictures into the school office.
