Please see below our R.E. focus for this week.
English
This week we have been continuing to complete our non-chronological report on the Victorians. The children have then spent some time writing up their work ready for display. I am so impressed with the quality of the children's work and I know that they have worked so hard.
Maths
This week we have continued to develop our understanding of algebra and have started to learn how to write equations to help us find missing numbers. We have also completed a couple of Maths assessments.
P.S.H.E.
This week in P.S.H.E we have been thinking about our hopes for the future. We spoke about how some children still don't have the rights that we have and that they don't always have the same opportunities that we have. The children thought about what they hoped would happen in their future and the future of other children.
Art
This week we held a minutes silence to mark the anniversary of the first lockdown and to pay our respects to the people who have unfortunately died. For our artwork we created a piece of art that represented the positive things that we have taken from lockdowns. These include the time spent with family, time at home and time to learn new skills.
