Maths

Today we are looking at subtracting fractions with the same denominator. This process is the same as adding fractions, but obviously we are taking away rather than adding! Keep the denominator the same and just subtract the numerator. Have a look at the worksheets and see how you get on. 

Big Write

Please could you write a story for your Big Write this week? Imagine you have just won the prize of a lifetime, just like Charlie Bucket. What would that be for you? Mine would be a trip to Disneyland in Florida with lots of money to spend while I'm there too! And having exclusive access to all of the theme parks with no other people there 

Write your story telling me about what you have won and how you won it. Then, your story could go on to tell me about what happened after that and how you felt at each time. I can't wait to hear all about your amazing prizes! 

Science

We are going to have a quick look at the body in our Science lessons for the next couple of weeks. Today, familiarise yourself with the different parts of the body by completing the wordsearch. Then, complete the sheet with your ideas about the body so far so we can see what you already know. Enjoy!
