Extension task: Please have a go at these reasoning questions
For your English task, we will be focusing on developing our comprehension skills.
Please take your time to read the comprehension. It is about landmarks in Europe. After you have read the text, please answer the questions. Your answers need to be written in sentences, unless the question states otherwise.
Remember to underline the information in the text before writing your answer!
For our Geography topic this half term, we will be looking at different aspect from around the world.
Today, we will be researching a country. It can be any country you want. You can choose a country that you know a lot about, a country that you might have been to on a holiday or even a country you would like to visit.
For your task, you will need to research:
1. Where the country is on a map.
2. Sports that are played in that country.
3. Traditional food
4. The flag
5. Famous landmark
6. Famous people
7. 5 fabulous facts
8. Traditional vocabulary.
For EGPS today, we are going to look at verbs. We have already learnt all about verb at school, so this is a recap lesson. It is really important that we remember to include these in our writing.
