Dear Parents/Carers,

We have had a fantastic start to the year. I am extremely impressed with how well the children have settled into Year 3 and their attitudes towards learning. The children have worked incredibly hard this week and produced a lot of excellent work.

Homework

Homework will continue to be set online throughout the year, sometimes on Purple Mash and sometimes on the website. This week for your homework, I would like you to create a poster about the Stone Age. The Stone Age is our new topic. Think about what you already know about the Stone Age or any facts you have learnt this week from our story. You could even do some research. Your poster can either be created on the computer or paper.

Homework is due Wednesday 15th September by 4:00pm.

Reading

Please continue to encourage your child to read at least three times a week and record it on Clumber's Reading Log. Each week your child will get sticker on their bookmark if they have read three times. Reading books will be changed on a Friday so please complete the reading log before the following Friday.

Times Table Test

On a Friday, Clumber Class will be having a times table test. For this week, please can your child practice the 2, 5 and 10 times table ready for their test on Friday 17th September.
