Hello Welbeck Class, Parents and Carers,

I hope that you have had a lovely Easter break. The children have started this week with lots of enthusiasm and are working hard across all subjects. 

Homework

This weeks homework is a mixture of reasoning style questions and grammar questions. 

Reading

Reading diaries and books should be brought into school on a daily basis. Please continue to encourage your children to read at least three times a week at home. 

Spellings

This weeks spellings are: accompany, accommodate, access, accuse, accost, accrue, accuracy, accomplish, accumulate, accentuate. 

SATs

Some parents have asked about the dates for the SATs tests. These tests are due to take place between Tuesday 9th May-Friday 12th May.  The schedule for the tests are as follows:

Tuesday 9th- Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling

Wednesday 10th- English Reading

Thursday 11th- Maths Arithmetic and Maths Reasoning Paper 1

Friday 12th- Maths Reasoning Paper 2

Booster Club

The next club will be on Wednesday 26th April 2023. 

DAaRT Graduation

The children have now completed their DAaRT programme and will be graduating on Tuesday 25th April at 2:00pm. If you would like to attend the graduation, please let me know either in person or by email before Monday 24th April.
