Making use of our home grown vegetables

During the summer months Mrs Cushing planted some courgettes with her after school gardening club. The courgettes had actually turned into marrows and looked fantastic.

Mrs Cushing kindly gave the Sunshine Suite one of the marrows to use so today we attempted a very ambitious recipe of stuffed marrow with couscous and spicy chicken.

We were really pleased with how well the recipe turned out and some of the children really enjoyed eating it.
