This week, we have continued to discuss what it means to be a scientist! We learnt that scientists ask lots of questions in order to find out more about things and tried hard to think of our own questions relating to the structure of different animals. We talked about how they are different - they may have fins, feathers or tentacles. We learnt that animals are all structured in different ways and some of us even made comparisons between different animal groups!
This lesson, we continued to learn more about the structure of animals and extended our descriptions to making comparisons between them. So, we had to investigate the structure of animals and then discuss how they were similar to other animals and also how they were different. We had to have a really good understanding of these structures in order to complete this task. Well done, Year 1!
