Homework
We are going to continue looking at fractions for homework. This week the children have been given a sheet to practise subtracting fractions. They must change the denominators to the same number before subtracting.
Times Tables
It has been noticed in our Maths lessons that we are still finding some of our times tables tricky. It is important that by Easter the children are confident at recalling the times tables up to 12 x 12. Please continue to encourage your child to practise their times tables especially the 6, 7 and 8's.
Reading
Reading diaries and books should be brought into school on a daily basis. Please continue to encourage your children to read at least three times a week at home.
Spellings
This weeks spellings are: produce, impact, transport, silence, permit, object, contest, subject, increase, freeze.
SATs
Some parents have asked about the dates for the SATs tests. These tests are due to take place between Tuesday 9th May-Friday 12th May. Further information will be shared closer to the time.
