Please have a go at todays arithmetic task. You may take as long as you need on the questions.
This week in maths, we will be learning a new subject. We will be learning how to do column multiplication.
Yesterday, I introduced the method. However, we used simple numbers. Today we will be looking at more challenging numbers which includes carrying numbers over from different columns.
I have modelled this method for the children. Please watch my teaching video.

For our English lesson today, we will be continuing with the myth: Pandora's box. Please watch the video to remind you what has happened so far in the story.
Today, we will be planning the next part of the story of Pandora's Box. Your story needs to describe Pandora opening the box, what is inside the box and what happens after she has opened the box.
Please also use the template and PowerPoint to help you plan.
For computing, we will be continuing with our touch-typing lessons. Last week, we learned about the different rows of keys. The home row, the bottom row and the top row.
Today, we will be focusing again on the home row, bottom row and top row keys. These tasks will need to be completed on Purple Mash. If you have forgotten your login, please email me and I will resend it to you. Please have a go at the different activities on Purple Mash. There are quite a few activities but they only take 2 minutes each.
Please look at the pictures to remind yourself of each row of keys.
For EGPS today, we are going to look at conjunctions (FANBOYS). We have already learnt all about conjunction at school, but we need to try and include these more in our writing.
Please follow the video for this lesson: https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/to-explore-conjunctions-c4wkee
It is a very interactive lesson. You will need a piece of paper and a pencil. Please follow the video and have a go at all the different activities.
