PE and Sports Premium 2016-2017
For the 2016-2017 financial year we have received £8,466 for our school.
During the Summer Term (2015-2016) we received £3,519 and this was used to pay for Sports Coaches who taught the children throughout school alongside the teaching assistants and this allowed the school staff to further develop their own teaching skills in physical education.
For the Autumn and Spring Terms (2016-2017) we have received £4,947 and this funding has allowed us to further encourage our children to develop a healthy lifestyle through the building of a bike and scooter shelter to encourage the children to use this healthy way to travel to school.
During the Summer Term (2016-2017) we received £3,533 and an outdoor interactive screen was purchased and installed in the school playground. This outdoor screen is promoting a healthy lifestyle to all members of the school community and allows children to participate in fitness activities during break, dinner and after school times.
