Skype with a Poet

On Wednesday 29th March we had a Skype session with Matt Black, the poet laureate for Derbyshire.

 

He enjoyed hearing the children's poems, especially the one about Calpol, and we performed his poem "Toast" together. He also read us a few of his other poets, gave us some great tips about writing and answered all our questions.
