Maths

Please continue to log onto Times Tables Rockstars daily and practise your times tables. Remember, you need to confidently know all times tables up to 12 x 12 by the end of primary school. You could also ask your grown-ups at home to test you by asking you some quick fire times tables questions.

Today we are going to be continuing our work on fractions. We are focusing on dividing a fraction by another fraction. Work through the PowerPoint and recap on how to divide fractions. Have a look at the following questions.

Remember you must:

1.Turn the dividing fraction upside down and change ÷ to ×.
2.Multiply numerators and denominators as normal.
3.Simplify / change to a mixed number as necessary.

English

Over the next couple of days we are going to be creating baubles for the school Christmas tree in the playground. I would like you to draw around something circular and cut it out. Inside the circle I would like you to write a short Christmas prayer. On the back of the prayer I would like you to create a piece of artwork that fits with your prayer. We are going to be hanging our prayers on the tree this week.

Computing

We are continuing to think about advertisements. Todays task is to design and record a persuasive radio advert for a product. Think carefully about the work that we did in English and what a successful advert should include. Use the PowerPoint to help you plan your ideas.

Religious Education

In R.E. we are going to be thinking about why Christmas is important to Christians. Use the PowerPoint to think about this. As a challenge, can you think about how Christmas and Easter are linked?
