As part of the national anti-bullying week, Welbeck class have been doing some work about being able to make sure there is no bullying.
The class split into four mixed groups, and thought about the qualities we need to have to make sure no one can be a bully in our class. Words like confidence, kindness, dignity, helpfulness and happiness all came up.
The children then had to design and make a shield to protect the class from bullying, using these qualities to defend us. Each child chose a quality they felt was important, and added it to their group's shield.
Finally, the children discussed what quality they had chosen and why, and wrote it down ready to share with the rest of the school in Special Mentions assembly.
As you can see in the pictures, they all worked hard.
