Dear Parents/Carers,
The children have had a fantastic first week back after half term. Our new book this term is 'Alice in Wonderland'. The children are incredibly engaged with this book and we have been describing the rabbit hole using a whole range of E.G.P.S features such as fronted adverbials, subordinate clauses and conjunctions, speech marks etc. We have continued to learn about decimals in Maths.
Homework:
This week children have a times table sheet and English sheet to complete.
Spellings:
The spellings are: bicycle, biplane, biped, bicentennial, biannual, bilingual, biceps, binoculars, bisect and biscuit.
The Times Table check is in June so please ensure your child is completing Times Table rockstar time at home.
Just a reminder that children can use Spelling Shed to practise their spellings.
Please ensure children read 3 times a week.
