Greenwatch Fire Service

We had a really exciting morning on the 24th May because we were lucky enough to be visited by the Nottinghamshire Fire Service who came to speak to us about water safety. We learnt about the dangers of swimming in lakes and rivers and we have learnt what to do if we ever saw someone who needed help. The fire men took us outside to do some practical work, showing us how to make items such as balls and water bottles into life saving devices. We enjoyed looking around the fire engine and sitting inside of it. Because we were very well behaved the fire men put on the blue lights and sirens before they left- it was very noisy.
