Welcome

Welcome to our school.

I am incredibly delighted to offer you a warm welcome to St. Luke's C of E Primary School.   St. Luke's is a thriving, friendly village school situated in beautiful, leafy-green school grounds, at the heart of a village community with close links with St. Luke's Church.

Here at St. Luke's, we are an inclusive school and offer all our children the opportunity to Work together - Grow Together - Flourish together, like the mustard seed, by aspiring to offer the best possible quality of education, through our committed and dedicated team.

At St. Luke's we have carefully developed an exciting, broad and balanced curriculum, rich in creative first hand experiences and core skills to ensure that all pupils reach their academic potential and become responsible, well-rounded citizens equipped for the modern world by learning in meaningful ways.

Our beautiful school grounds provide plenty of opportunities for first-hand learning experiences. The fitness trail, outside learning environments, extensive green space, nature area and sports field are real assets to the school.

We believe that the partnership between home and school is crucial to your child’s academic, social and physical development and continually strive to link with our families.  Over your child’s journey with us, we also look to invite families into school to observe and participate in a range of experiences, such as: performances and productions, open afternoons, coffee mornings and sports days.

I feel privileged to be the Head teacher of St. Luke's C of E Primary School; a school with such a positive family atmosphere and community at its heart.  We are passionate about creating an environment and culture that promotes the opportunity of children feeling safe to take risks, make mistakes and feel comfortable being challenged to reach their fullest potential.

We love being part of a happy and inclusive school community and look forward to welcoming you into school soon.

Mr. Peter Phillips
