Maths
This week in maths, we will be learning a new subject. We will be learning how to solve long multiplication questions using the Part-Whole Model.

For English today, we are going to write a letter from Pandora to the world. You will need your plan that you made yesterday.
Please follow the PowerPoint. I explain how to use your plan to write a letter, as well as modelling the letter to help you.
Thank you for all the children who have already written their letters. If you are one of these children, please use the PowerPoint to check you have included every feature and use it to help you improve yours.
Art
This week we will be looking at Seattle in the United States.
The artist is called Jesse Treece and he is famous for his collage artwork. He used newspaper comic strips, science fiction books and images from the 1960s and 1970s to create his work. He pieces were said to surprise and excite people, he was also listed as the top collage artist throughout the world in a magazine. He brings together aspects of science and nature to make new pictures that make us think!
Here is an example of one of his collages, maybe you at home could cut some interesting pictures out of old magazines or newspapers to create your own masterpiece!
EGPS
In EGPS, we are now going to continue to look at using the suffixes -er and -est. Today, we will learn the rules associated with adding the suffixes to root words.
