Dear Welbeck Class, Parents and Carers,

Next week will be the children's final swimming session of the school year. It has been lovely to see the children develop their confidence in the water and learn about water safety. After half term, the children will still need to wear their P.E. kit on a Wednesday and a Thursday.

Parents/ carers consultation are on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd February. Bookings are open and can be found on the parentmail link. This will be the children's final parents/carers consultation at St. Luke's so it will be lovely to discuss their progress and upcoming SATs. If you are having any issues with booking an appointment please let me know. 

On Tuesday 8th February the children in Welbeck Class will be taking part in a dance workshop. On this day children will need to wear their P.E. kit to school. 

Homework-  This week I would like you to write a story for our school competition. Your story can be a  fairy story, adventure story or any other story that you can think of. Try to incorporate all of the year 6 grammar elements that we have been learning about recently. 

Next week is Children's Mental Health Week. Throughout the week we will be taking part in a range of mindfulness activities as well as discussing ways in which we can take care of our mental health. We will also be supporting Place2Be's mental health theme 'Growing Together'. Please could you send your child into school with a photograph of themselves aged between 4-8. Thank you!
