Dear Parents/Carers,

The children have been working really hard this week in all subjects, but particularly maths and PE. In Maths, we have been learning how to convert equivalent fractions and also converted improper fractions into mixed numbers. In PE, the children have been learning how to complete a handstand.

Homework This week children have 2 pieces of homework. For Maths, I would like all children to complete B. If they would like a challenge, they can complete C as well. Their English homework is based on determiners which we have also been looking at over the past 2 weeks. Please can children also practise the songs for the Acorn theatre production.

Homework is due in on Wednesday 22nd March.

Reading

Please continue to encourage your child to read at least three times a week and record it in your child's diary. Each week your child will get sticker on their bookmark if they have read three times. 

Please can your child bring their reading book and reading diary to school everyday. Reading books will continue to be changed on a Friday.

Spellings

Please ensure that your child is practising their spellings as it is so important for their writing. Spelling Shed is available for children to practise their spellings. The spelling tests will be every Friday.

expression, discussion, confession, permission, admission, impression, obsession, procession, omission and concussion.

Times Table Rockstars:

Please could children go on TTRS at least once a week for practise of their times tables.We have a times table test each Friday which is superhero themed.
