Transport Links Within Our Village
Last week we went on a short walk through the village to find out exactly what transport links there are in the local area and who might be using them.
We saw lots of different modes of transport including trains, boats, cars, bicycles and planes.
Some of the children had never visited the marina before so were very surprised to see so many narrow boats.
We are also very excited to be going on a short trip along the Chesterfield Canal next week. We will be walking to the marina once again where we will board the Hugh Henshall narrow boat. The journey will take us a short distance along the canal and through a few of the locks.
