Today we are going to be writing shape poems based on bonfire night. A shape poem is where you write your poem inside of a picture and the poem takes the shape of that picture. When writing your poem, I would like you to think about the following:
- what bonfire night is and why it is celebrated
- what sounds can we hear.
In your poem I would like you to include:
- alliteration
- adjectives
- noun phrases
- onomatopoeia
