Best of British
As part of our topic work we decided to hold our own Royal themed afternoon tea party in The Sunshine Suite.
The children enjoyed choosing their menu options and working together to make jam tarts, lemon curd tarts, a selection of sandwiches, scones and homemade lemonade.
The children also invited friends along to join them at the party. We all had a great time playing games such as 'pin the tail on the corgi' as well as learning the words to the National Anthem.
The event was a great success and everyone enjoyed the delicious food that was typical of a British afternoon tea.
