Golf

We have had a fantastic day as Stu Warren has been to visit us again to teach us some superb, age-appropriate, golf skills. Despite the weather, the children really enjoyed learning how to play golf.

These are the activities children took part in:

*The Driver Smash game uses a soft club and ball and allows children to strike a shot which flies up to 50 yards in distance. This game is played between different distance ‘gates’, with teams competing against each other.

*The 5 Hole Putting Course is a rolling ball game using large soft putters and balls. Players take turns to roll their ball through 5 different ‘holes’ of various lengths, shapes, obstacles and challenges. Players complete the hole when their ball sticks to the flag base.

The children have really enjoyed learning new skills for this sport!

Thank you for teaching us, Stu!

Please enjoy looking at the pictures below of children learning their new skills that they have acquired in golf.

We have been lucky enough to have Stu Warren come into school and teach us all about golf! He showed us some skills and each class were able to work with him for a session to improve their knowledge of the sport.
