Homework due: Wednesday 21st September 2022 

Dear Parents/Carers,

I am incredibly impressed with how the children have settled into Year 4 and their outstanding attitudes towards learning. They are really enjoying their new topic, Vikings and Anglo-Saxons, and our class book Arthur and the Golden Rope.

Homework

For your homework, I would like you to complete the English worksheet that has been sent home with the children. This week we have been learning about expanded noun phrases. Please either email your child's homework or send it into school with them.

Homework is due in on Wednesday 21st September.

Reading

Please continue to encourage your child to read at least three times a week and record it in your child's diary. Each week your child will get sticker on their bookmark if they have read three times. 

Please can your child bring their reading book and reading diary to school everyday. Reading books will continue to be changed on a Friday.

Spellings

The children will come home with a password for their spelling account on Spelling Shed. They will be allocated spellings weekly and this website provides fun games to help them learn the words. Spellings will be tested the following Friday.
