Thoresby Class - Years 3 and 4
Welcome to Thoresby class! Our current topic is 'Stupendous Sports!' We will be learning about Ancient Greece where the Olympics first began and look at what it is like in Greece. We will be creating our own anthem in music and in art we will create a video about sports in school. In science we will be learning about how to be healthy. In RE we are continuing to learn about signs and symbols and in PSCHE we will be learning about how to deal with changes in life. In Computing we will be creating a database of information and in Design Technology we are continuing to sew a purse or wallet. We have a great term ahead!

Important information:
- PE sessions are on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday afternoons with Mr Oliver, although we ask that kits are in school throughout the week.
- Swimming is on Wednesday afternoons.
- Please read aloud at least three times a week to a grown-up to achieve a sticker for your Reading Rangers bookmark!
- Homework is set weekly on Fridays to be handed in the following Wednesday.
- Times tables tests are on Wednesday, spelling tests on Thursday and Big Write is on Thursday - please make sure that you are always well-prepared!
