Today in PSHE we have been focusing on the protected characteristic 'disability.' The children could define what a disability was and could give examples of disabilities. It was wonderful hearing the conversations the children were having, discussing how it was important to not judge as some disabilities are not visible and the importance of treating everyone equally.
Key messages that the children shared with each other today were:
'Be kind to everyone that you meet.'
'Do not judge others.'
'It is okay to be different.'
'Always be yourself- that is okay.'
Incredibly proud of the children in Welbeck for having such an inclusive approach to everyone that they meet.
