National Emergency Museum

We had a fantastic trip yesterday, 25th February, to the National Emergency Museum in Sheffield. The children were able to demonstrate their knowledge of the Great Fire of London by teaching Clara what they knew and were shown a range of artefacts. The children were taught about a firemen's uniform and how it has changed since 1666. Some children were very lucky and were given the opportunity to try the uniforms on.

The children were extremely well behaved during the coach journey and the visit to the museum. It was lovely to receive lovely comments from the museum staff about the children.

Thank you to Mrs Green, Mrs Longhurst and Miss Halpin who volunteered to help on the trip!
