Hello Welbeck Class, Parents and Carers,

We have had a busy start to December and have truly started to get into the festive spirit in Welbeck Class. On Tuesday, we enjoyed supporting Creswell class making Christingles. The children in Welbeck were fantastic with the younger children, they were so supportive and patient and explained each step to our youngest children. I am so proud of them!

We have also continued to rehearse for our Christmas performance that will take place next Friday. We hope that so many of your family members are able to make it- I know it will be a lovely evening! 

We also had lots of fun decorating our class Christmas tree- photos will follow shortly. 

Homework- Please complete the questions below. With a family member, I would also like you to try the rationing quiz. I have also uploaded some recipes that families would have followed during the rationing period if you would like to try them at home. 

Reading- Please ensure that your child is reading at least three times each week and that three written comments are recorded in their reading diary. Diaries and reading books should be brought into school daily and are checked on Mondays. Please remember that your child has access to Bug Club, where they have a range of books allocated to them. If your child needs a reminder about their username and password please let me know.
