National Shakespeare Week
We had a fantastic time with Tom yesterday where we learnt the story of 'A Midsummer Nights Dream'. Tom told us the story and taught us actions to remember the important characters. We were then split into 5 groups where we pretended to be newspaper reporters reporting the story to the audience. Each member of the class was given a role to play and had to create a freeze frame based on what was happening in the story.
In the afternoon we worked together as a whole school to recreate the story. Each class had their own part of the story to act out. We used what we had learnt in the workshop and continued to practise our freeze frames.
It was fantastic to see the whole story come together. Well done children, you all worked extremely hard.
