Thursday 10th June

This week, we started our learning on statistics. We have studied the features of tables, pictograms and bar charts and have discussed both discrete and continuous data.

The homework task this week is to collect your own data and then present it in either a table, pictogram or bar chart, ensuring you include all of the relevant features that you know.

The data you collect can be of your choice - you may choose to ask your family or friends what their favourite colour is, their favourite holiday destination or even their favourite subject at school. These are just examples - feel free to choose your own! We will be focusing on discrete data for this task as we haven't yet discussed how to present continuous data in graphical form.

Please send a photo of your graph or table to thoresby@st-lukes.notts.sch.uk by Wednesday 16th June smiley
