Astronomy at Outwood Academy Portland
On Wednesday 15th November the Year Five children spent the afternoon at Outwood Academy Portland. We looked at Astronomy. We visited the Planetarium Dome, had a talk about the planets, made ice cream with liquid nitrogen, made a comet with dry ice and built our own telescope. They even made us some hot-dogs and pizza. Thank you to all the staff at Outwood Academy Portland.
