In our maths lessons this week, we will be focusing on a new topic: division.

Today, we are going to revise diving by the 3, 4 and 8 times table to prepare ourselves for long division.

English

This week, we will be writing a letter to the world from Pandora, apologising for opening in the box and letting all the evil out.

Today, we will be looking at the key features of a formal letter. It is important we know and understand the key features of a text before we plan our own letter.

Please read the PowerPoint to learn the features of a formal letter.

After, please use the checklist and find all the features in the apology letter. I would like you to highlight the features in the letter and label which feature it is. Remember, we have done this before at school.

Challenge: If there are any features missing in the apology letter, can you add them in?

Computing

For computing, we will be continuing with our touch-typing lessons. Today, we are going to practice typing with our left hand.

For todays tasks, they will need to be completed on Purple Mash. If you have forgotten your login, please email me and I will resend it to you. Please have a go at the different activities on Purple Mash. There are quite a few activities but they only take 2 minutes each.

EGPS

In EGPS, we are now going to look at sentence types. Today, we will be recapping compound sentences.
