We used directions to move to a different place around school

Today we used directional language to see how we could move from one area of our school to another. We put on our coats and enjoyed using the area in our school grounds to practise our skills. When we went back inside we worked together to draw maps of our routes and of the local area. We used directions of North, South, East, West and counted the number of steps we needed to move forwards before turning left or right.
