This half term, we have learnt the Easter story. We have learnt how this is celebrated through Holy Week by Christians in churches. We have looked at the theme of forgiveness and read a story about forgiveness. We thought about how we can forgive each other and how Christians believe God forgives them of anything bad that they do. At the end of the half term, Helen Murray from St Luke's Church came to talk to us about how St Luke's Church celebrate the events of the Easter story. We looked at some palm crosses and some of us had our feet washed, as Jesus washed his disciples feet. We thought about what it meant to serve others. We thought about the events of Easter and learnt Christians believe that these events show that God loves them.
