About St. Luke's

St. Luke's is a voluntary church aided primary, co-educational day school located in the small village of Shireoaks. We have 186 children on the school roll aged between 5 and 11.

St. Luke's is a  village primary school with a friendly welcoming atmosphere. St. Luke’s is a popular choice and attracts pupils from beyond the catchment area of the church parish.

Recognising the historic foundation of our church-aided school, founded in 1864, the school aims to preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with the local parish church of St. Luke’s.

Our Shared Vision at St. Luke’s

‘Let your light shine, live life to the full, respect and care for all, create a happy and safe world for everyone.’
