Thoresby Class worked very hard today thinking about what bullying is, how it can make someone feel and what can be done to help prevent it happening. We also thought about what we should do if we feel worried or if we are worried about somebody else. The children thought very carefully about this important subject and made fantastic contributions to our class discussion. With a partner, we created our own characters who felt they were being bullied. We thought about what could be happening to them and how it would be making them feel on the inside and why. Confidently, the children then shared their characters and stories and we discussed as a class what their character should do such as speaking to a grown up. We remembered that we should always be kind, look after others and be a good friend.
