We had a fantastic time yesterday on our visit to Rother Valley.
Our guides, Ian and Dave, gave us a tour of the Valley and explained how the flood defences worked. We studied the river Rother, measuring the direction, speed and depth of the water. In the afternoon we planted some trees. There were Oak, Blackthorn, Hazel, Hawthorn and Chestnut tress. We hope to see them grow and have been given permission to walk up to the plantation to check on our trees.
A big thank you to our Rangers, Ian and Dave, for a great day.
