The Jewish Experience
We were lucky enough to be visited by some special people who told us all about the Jewish religion and allowed us to learn more about Jewish special objects and rituals. We learnt more about their Holy book, the Torah, and we looked at pictures of different objects and celebrations.
In RE, we have been consolidating our learning from last half term by reflecting on what we have learnt and then we compiled a list of 'big questions' that we would ask God if we had the opportunity to. The children loved looking back through their books and could recall what they have learnt and the morals behind the stories that we have read. Children asked some really interesting questions including:
- How can you be everywhere at once?
- How do you help so many people at the same time?
- What is heaven like?
- What do you look like?
