Continuing with our 'All Around the World' topic we have enjoyed learning lots of interesting facts about China and how Chinese New Year is celebrated.

 

We enjoyed reading the story about the Emperor's animal race and how the Chinese Zodiac was formed.  We had fun finding out which animals represented the year we were born and what that particular animal represented.

 

The dragon is a very important Chinese symbol and we enjoyed making our own dragons and lanterns for our Chinese New Year celebration.

 

There were lots of different Chinese inspired foods to sample and we had so much fun trying to eat using chop sticks.
