Welbeck

In Welbeck we acknowledged the importance of speaking about our mental health and recognised who we might gain support from. In class we spoke about how our feelings can be hurt by unkind comments and how they can leave 'invisible scars'.

We then spoke about how our bodies may react when we are worried about something. We spoke about the physical and internal changes and discussed steps that we can take when we are worried about something.

In the afternoon, we focused on the book 'The boy, the mole, the fox and the horse.' We analysed the messages in the book and discussed how we can interpret them into our own lives. The children then created some fantastic work based on the book.
