Today in Maths, we are going to be looking at the four times tables. Do you know your four times tables? This is new to us. Please watch the video and complete the tasks. https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/to-recall-the-4x-table-using-skip-counting-cru3gc
For computing, we are going to be looking at Pointillism art. Do you know what this is? You are going to be using 2paint to create a pointillism picture. When you go on the task, you need to click and then click on the 'pointillism' template. Pictures are made in a similar way to the previous lesson. Pupils can add water before; this merges the dots together. They can also experiment with the dot size by altering the slider at the bottom of the screen. On the top right of the screen is a button that gives some outline options that can help with painting. These outlines can be resized and repositioned using the blue and green draggable squares on them. For example, children can position a person template and use it to paint a person in a particular position. They can then move the template to add more people. There are templates for a face and their body. Children can use the undo button incase they have made a mistake. The task is set as a 2do.
For Golden time, I would like you to start a lockdown scrapbook. This can be used for photos of you completing activities during lockdown. You can then decorate it with crafts. You do not have to complete it in one session. This could be continued over the lockdown. You can then keep it forever!
