Have a go at applying your learning from previous lessons to be able to answer the questions about hundredths on a place value grid. We have completed this type of sheet before related to tenths, so this will be very similar

Please use some time today to have another look at your biography and make some improvements. Could you use synonyms to improve some of the vocabulary? Or more conjunctions to vary the lengths of your sentences? You might have some more ideas to add in or edit now you are looking at it with fresh eyes.

Once you have done this, please log on to Bug Club and complete some of your banded reading. 

ICT

Please have a look at some of the tasks on Purple Mash and complete the ones that you most like the look of. 

We are going to be looking next week at the invention of the world wide web and life before the internet. Have a think and maybe a chat with your grown ups about what life may have been like before the internet was invented. How did people find out information? Were there other ways of finding out details about people? Generate some ideas so that you are ready to share them in our lesson next week. 

Design Technology

As our topic for this half term is 'achievers and inventors' I thought it would be good for us to design our own new inventions! We will be following the TASC wheel as best we can with the current restrictions, and I am hoping that once the design process has been completed in school, some children may be able to make theirs at home 

So, think about something you would like to invent. It would be great if you could come up with something that does not already exist - a gap in the market. We will be discussing these ideas in class next week, so it would be really beneficial if you already have an idea or two in mind. You can make notes and maybe do some initial drawings if you like!
