We collected natural materials and created sticky pictures!

This week in D.T, the children have had a lot of fun discussing what shields were used for during the Battle of Hastings and the different types of markings on the shields to differentiate themselves from their enemy. The children had to make a list of the resources they would need to create their shields and then they went onto designing it by focusing on the colours, shape and patterns that they will have on their shields.

The children really enjoyed combining all of their knowledge to bring their ideas to life in all different shapes and sizes.
