Maths

In Maths today, we are going to continue looking at different line graphs.

Have a look at the examples on the PowerPoint and then have a go at the questions.

You can choose the red, orange or blue questions depending on how confident you are.

EGPS

Today we will be continuing our work on hyphenated words.

Have a look at the PowerPoint for a reminder of the hyphens rules and then complete the task by adding the hypens into the correct words.

English

To continue our work on poetry, please have a go at the following reading comprehension.

Geography

I would like you to choose one of the major rivers we looked at last week and complete some research about it.

You might choose to find out about the River Amazon, the Nile, the Yangtze, the Congo, the Ob or any other you can remember.

I would like to know:

How long the river is.

Which countries it flows through.

What tributaries it has (remember tributaries are smaller rivers that flow into the main river)

Which sea it flows into.

How people use the river.

What animals live in and around the river.

Any other interesting facts you can find.

You can present this however you like, this could be a PowerPoint, a written piece or a poster.

I am looking forward to seeing your work.

Any work can be sent through to our class email:

Sheerwood@st-lukes.notts.sch.uk and feedback will be sent through MarvellousMe.

Have a lovely day!

Miss Hunter
