Learning about money

I was extremely impressed with the children this week with their understanding of money. The children were able to tell me the different coins and notes we use in this country and could order them from the largest value to the smallest. The children then participated in role play activities in which they bought items from our class café using the correct amount of coins. The children also learnt how to add two coins together. Well done Rufford class!
