Yoga

This week, in yoga, we have been discussing what yoga is and why people do yoga. We practised our breathing exercises and enjoyed learning how to say 'namaste' and learning the meaning behind it. The children did a fantastic job of learning different yoga poses and we talked about which muscles we were using for each pose. 

In yoga, the children have recapped their knowledge of different poses and practised how to perfect them. They worked with a partner to share their ideas on how to create their own yoga routines for the rest of the class to follow. They are going to be practising this over the next few weeks and then they will present this to our class!
