Year 5 Sherwood Class Homework

Thank you so much to everyone for last week's homework and for all the reading I can see in diaries.
Thank you also to everyone who has accessed the Spelling Shed, if you are having any issues with this please let me know.
In English this week, we have discussed collective nouns. The children know this is the name for a group of something and I would like the children to investigate how many different collective nouns they can find.
If the children could write a list of as many interesting or unusual group names as they can find, for example: a mob of meerkats or a murder of crows, we will share these in class next Thursday.
From next week, we will also be completing a times tables check each Friday. Please could all the children continue to learn and practice all their times tables at home as these are so important to our Maths learning.
